A mix of appliqué, crazy and sane quilting interrupted by my wanderings around the garden and paddocks with family, dog, cat, chooks, with the odd stop to dust some part of life in general like cooking, collections and things I want to remember.

More of the Calender Quilt
Spring showers
Only block that I have so far managed to follow, well except for the flowers. every Spring garden has to have flowers, can't help feeling it needs something behind the fence or maybe a little blue bird sitting on it.
A little bird would look cute. Or mabey a wheelbarrow behind the fence... Though last comment about sheep would really be cute as can be too!! Neverless it is looking lovely. P.s thanks for the advice on my chickens... I will head up this morning to check out the neck feathers.... Spurs I have looked for already and to me they all look to have them! But I read that they may not get any sign of spurs till 1 year old.
You may both be right, yes a sheep, it can eat the flowers, the real ones have been known to do just that. I was going to take a photo of my chicks. (hatched xmas eve)but my camera is dead, the ones that I know are going to be roosters already have a tiny spur.
