I really had fun doing this block, not sure what it will look like when joined to whatever goes next. I've done a rough sketch of each block, with three categories of colour/pattern, 1- blue sky, 2- water and 3- garden then put the sketches into a bag. I'm taking one out in the last week of each month to piece ready to embellish in the following month. Fabric is potluck. I just put whatever I thought would work together into a big bag, if the sketch says blue or garden then thats whats used, the last two blocks are actually to go side by side. I'm having to resist the urge to sew them together as I haven't decided if I'm going to add a sashing between each one or butt them together then embellish the seam, there are some lovely blocks on the
